About

Technical expertise and the ability to lead software projects from analysis to release.

I help turn business needs into executable software projects: clarifying requirements and scope, planning the work, making grounded technical decisions, coordinating teams and vendors, managing dependencies and risks, monitoring progress, and supporting the project through release.

My background is not a linear move from developer to project manager. The technical and management dimensions grew together: software development on one side, and progressively broader responsibility for product, people, vendors, priorities, and project execution on the other.

Entrepreneurial experience gave me real cross-functional responsibility early. Later work in structured Agile and enterprise software environments added more formal planning, estimation, dependency management, stakeholder coordination, and a more structured approach to managing projects.

Today those two tracks converge in Technical Project / Delivery Management: a role where technical understanding is not separate from coordination, but one of the tools used to make better project decisions.

Professional trajectory

Two tracks, one role.

Technical knowledge helps me understand what should be built and how; project experience helps me plan the work, coordinate the people involved, manage constraints, and guide it through release.

Technical growth

01

Software foundations

Web applications, full-stack development, direct responsibility for implementation and product behaviour.

02

Product building

Frontend, backend, hosting, integrations, UX/UI, and end-to-end responsibility in startup and standalone projects.

03

Modern application engineering

Angular, React, TypeScript, APIs, cloud integrations, testing, maintainability, and increasingly complex systems.

04

Enterprise engineering

Complex banking and insurance environments, dependencies across application layers, estimates, project constraints, and structured Agile collaboration.

Project management & coordination

01

Entrepreneurial responsibility

Product decisions, priorities, collaborators, vendors, commercial activity, external initiatives, and day-to-day coordination.

02

Cross-functional coordination

Keeping technical, operational, data, and business activities aligned while working with limited resources and changing constraints.

03

Structured project management

Backlogs, sprint planning, estimation, dependency management, reviews, stakeholder interaction, and coordinated team execution.

04

Technical project leadership

Translating sufficiently validated needs into scope, architecture decisions, project plans, risks, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

Technical Project & Delivery Management

Analysis → planning → coordination → implementation → release

Startup experience

Startups are not just clients: I know the ecosystem from the inside.

I have experienced the startup environment from different perspectives: as a founder, as a software developer on products for early-stage companies, and through mentoring, funding initiatives, and innovation programmes.

This gives me direct familiarity not only with software development, but also with the constraints startups regularly face: limited resources, rapid validation, shifting priorities, external stakeholders, small teams, and technical decisions that must remain aligned with business objectives.

01

Innovative startup founder

Co-founder and administrator of LB srls, an Italian innovative startup. Responsibilities covered product and software development, collaborators, external vendors, operational and commercial activities, as well as applications to startup programmes and funding opportunities.

02

Mentoring, incubation & innovation

Direct exposure to mentoring, events and formative initiatives connected to the startup ecosystem, including opportunities to engage with incubators, accelerators and the support models used to help early-stage companies grow.

03

Software built for other startups

I have worked on software products for other early-stage companies, including a SaaS product developed for a startup participating in an incubation programme and, more recently, a digital product within a company still operating in a startup growth phase.

04

Funding & startup programmes

Direct experience preparing applications and documentation for opportunities dedicated to innovative startups, including Invitalia initiatives, together with mentoring connected to startup selection programmes.

When I work with a startup, I do not treat software as an isolated project: it has to work within constraints of time, capital, validation, available capabilities and growth objectives.

What I do

From analysis to release: technical and organisational support across the software project.

The engagement can focus on end-to-end project management and coordination, on technical planning, or include hands-on development when that is the most effective way to move the work forward.

01

Technical Project & Delivery Management

Requirements and scope, priorities, roadmap, estimates, dependencies, risks, team and vendor coordination, stakeholder alignment, progress monitoring, and support through release. Suitable for ongoing fractional or contract responsibility.

02

Startup / MVP Technical Definition

Translate business and product findings into a Validation Product or MVP: architecture, technical scope, roadmap, team needs, estimates, decision criteria, and choices about what to build internally versus integrate from existing services.

03

Technical Assessment & Recovery

Review an existing software product or project situation, identify structural and execution risks, clarify priorities, and turn findings into an executable recovery or evolution plan.

04

Hands-on Software Engineering Support

Join an existing team—or help structure one—when implementation support is useful alongside project responsibility. Strongest on modern web applications, frontend architecture, APIs, and full-stack product work.

Where I fit

Useful when a software project needs both technical expertise and structured planning and coordination.

Startups and founders

When an idea has to become a technically credible, scoped, and executable product without building too much before its value has been tested.

Incubators and accelerators

Alongside business mentors and project managers, supporting the technical translation from sufficiently validated assumptions to software execution.

Product and software teams

When frontend, backend, product, external vendors, and project constraints need stronger coordination without losing technical quality.

SMEs and organisations

When an existing product needs assessment, technical planning, project restructuring, or an experienced bridge between business and development.

How I work

Make uncertainty visible. Add structure before unnecessary complexity.

I prefer to make assumptions, constraints, risks, and decision criteria explicit rather than present estimates as certainty. The amount of validation should be proportional to the cost and reversibility of the decision it supports.

On the technical side, I favour evolvable architecture, automation based on measured bottlenecks, clear responsibilities, and deliberate choices between custom development and existing services to protect time, cost, and maintainability.

AI can accelerate selected parts of research, analysis, documentation, and development, but product intent, architecture, acceptance, and accountability remain human responsibilities.

Collaboration

Project-based, fractional, or ongoing contract support.

I can work as a Technical Project / Delivery Manager, technical coordinator, project advisor, or hands-on technical lead depending on the stage and needs of the project. The objective is to define the responsibility and scope of work that reduce execution risk and keep the project moving.
