Privacy & Cookie Notice
This notice explains how personal data may be processed when visiting AngeliniLabs or contacting its owner.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is Sebastiano Angelini, operator of the AngeliniLabs website.
Contact email: sebastiano@angelinilabs.dev.
2. Data processed when visiting the website
AngeliniLabs does not require registration and does not provide user accounts. Personal data are collected only when a visitor voluntarily submits the contact form or contacts AngeliniLabs directly.
The technical infrastructure used to deliver and secure the website may also process navigation and security data automatically. This may include:
- IP address;
- date and time of the request;
- requested page or resource;
- browser and device information;
- referring page;
- HTTP response, security, and diagnostic information.
These technical data are processed only to deliver the website, maintain its security, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, and ensure the correct operation of the service.
3. Hosting, security, and technical infrastructure
The website is hosted and distributed through Cloudflare services. Cloudflare may process technical connection and security data as an infrastructure and network service provider.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse and spam. Turnstile may process technical information required to determine whether a request is legitimate. Depending on the security features enabled, Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical identifiers, cookies, or equivalent technologies for security, traffic management, and abuse prevention.
4. Contact form and email
When a visitor submits the contact form, AngeliniLabs processes the name, email address, optional company or project name, selected request type, message content, and the technical data required to validate and deliver the request. The form does not support attachments.
After successful delivery, an automatic confirmation email containing a copy of the submitted message and a reference identifier is sent to the email address provided by the visitor.
Messages submitted through the form are delivered using Zoho Mail. The same categories of data may be processed when a visitor contacts AngeliniLabs directly by email, together with any information voluntarily included in that correspondence.
These data are used to respond to the request, continue the related correspondence, evaluate possible professional collaboration, or take pre-contractual steps requested by the sender. Visitors should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.
5. Legal bases
The applicable legal bases are:
- the legitimate interest in securely operating, protecting, and maintaining the website and preventing abuse;
- taking steps at the request of the visitor before entering into a possible contract;
- compliance with legal obligations, where applicable.
6. Cookies and tracking
AngeliniLabs does not intentionally use advertising cookies, profiling cookies, analytics cookies, cross-site tracking tools, marketing pixels, or behavioural advertising technologies.
No cookie consent banner is displayed because the website does not currently use optional cookies or tracking technologies for advertising, profiling, or analytics that require the visitor's prior consent.
Cloudflare and Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical cookies, identifiers, or equivalent technologies when required for security, traffic management, form protection, or service operation.
7. External links
The website may contain ordinary links to external websites, including GitHub, LinkedIn, TCAF documentation, or other professional resources. AngeliniLabs does not control the processing carried out by those services after the visitor follows an external link.
8. Recipients and service providers
Data may be processed by providers that support the operation of the website and its communications, including:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, network delivery, DNS, security, and Turnstile anti-abuse protection;
- Zoho Mail, for email delivery and professional correspondence;
- technical or professional advisers where strictly necessary.
Personal data are not sold and are not disclosed for advertising or profiling purposes.
9. International data transfers
Some infrastructure or communication providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are carried out using the safeguards provided by data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
10. Retention
Technical and anti-abuse data are retained only for the periods required for service operation, security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention, according to the configuration and retention policies of the relevant provider.
Contact-form messages and email correspondence are retained for the time necessary to respond and manage the related professional communication. They may be retained for a longer period where necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect legal rights.
11. Data subject rights
Under applicable data protection law, data subjects may request, where the legal requirements are met:
- access to their personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure of data;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- data portability;
- information about the safeguards used for international transfers.
Requests may be sent to sebastiano@angelinilabs.dev.
Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
12. Automated decision-making
AngeliniLabs does not use automated decision-making or profiling in relation to website visitors or contact-form requests. Automated anti-abuse checks are used only to protect the form and website infrastructure.
13. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, its infrastructure, or its data-processing activities change. The current version will always be published on this page with its latest update date.
